CLAMPED IDLERS

TECNICAL INTRODUCTION

Steel rollers with the jacket consisting of tube and bearing mounting head rigidly coupled by pressure.They are mounted on pre-lubricated and protected radial or angular contact ball bearings.They are used in the production of medium-light and medium gravity and push conveyors.Normal operating temperature, TN:_5 ÷ +80 [°C].

AXLE ENDS

Depending on their application, the rollers have specific shapes for connection to the structure.For the correct installation of steel idlers, refer to the “Fixing rollers to structures” section on page 11.For the correct installation of motor-driven steel rollers, refer the “Fixing rollers to structures” section on page 68.The diagrams and Table 32 show the shapes of the ends of the axles envisaged in TECNORULLI production’s “Clamped steel rollers for medium-light and medium conveyors” programme.On request, other forms of connections and rollers with hubs can be considered.
